The annual Hong Kong Rugby Sevens tournament is probably the biggest sporting event in this city. Over 40,000 fans make their way to the Hong Kong Stadium on each day of the Sevens weekend to party, have fun and watch some rugby. The party then continues in the after hours in the restaurants, bars and clubs around the city.

This year we had the opportunity to produce a rugby themed merchandise for one of the leading Hong Kong food and beverage outlets. The set consisted of staff uniforms (cap + polo shirt) for the sales people at the stadium as well as the commemorative rugby shirt for the patrons to purchase.

Even though only a small quantity of each item was required we were able to custom dye the fabrics for the polo and rugby shirts and match it closely with stock fabric for the cap. The production of this set took only 10 days after all the artworks and designs were finalized. Both embroidery and silkscreen imprint were used to decorate this merchandise.
